 - Size of finished painting

 - Style

 - Number of images

 - Color scheme

 - Background

 - Positioning and other features

Since Shawn works strictly from photos supplied by you, the photo should show the subject as you would like them to appear in the portrait. This includes facial expression, age, etc. Other factors such as clothing and location can be altered to create the effect you want. Shawn's work is not a copy of the photo; rather, he uses the photo as reference to create a uniquely original portrait. Some "Portrait from Photos" companies paint over enlarged computer generated copies of your photos. Shawn's art is all original painting, created by hand. It will be a lasting record and memento of someone you love.

After a project is agreed upon you will:

 - mail your photos, a completed order form, and a 30% non-refundable deposit. Payment options are cashier's check, money order, or PayPal credit payment.

 - Upon receiving your photos, Shawn will contact you and set up a schedule for completion (this will depend on number and complexity of images, background, and size...allow for between 5 and 8 weeks)

Your satisfaction is important and a final sketch showing all the elements of the portrait will be sent either by e-mail as an attachment or by snail mail for your approval. Once the sketch is approved, the final painting process will begin.

Upon completion your portrait will be shipped to you. Shipping and handling is $18 in the continental U.S.-actual shipping costs are added to this for orders outside the area.
